Here at Little Moose we work quite a lot in laser cut perspex, like our signature Doodllery collection but we share a way of thinking with the creator of our newest collection, Bill Skinner, even if our tools are different. Having spent thirty years in the business, and having worked for prestigious brands such as Asprey and Vivienne Westwood, Bill certainly had the knowledge and know-how needed to launch his own unique collection in 2012.
Like us, Bill is fascinated with creativity and design and this shines through in his work, which is all meticulously hand carved in his UK studio. His distinctive pieces stand out from anything else available thanks to their quality and design, and it is clear that Bill isn't afraid to experiment and push the boundaries as he uses a miscellany of prescious metals and semi-prescious gem stones to create memorable, unique pieces of eye catching jewellery.
Above, you can see the artistry and detail of Bill's work in his modern day classic Honeycomb & Bee necklace as well as the charm of the March Hare and Cat earrings. One of Bill Skinner's signature pieces is the striking Galloping Horse bracelet in rose gold. This fashionista's delight features 12 hand carved horses.
If you like to take a walk on the wildside, Bill's Bigger Beasties collection features a selection of wild critters, each one hand carved in his studio, set with a large faceted Swarovski crystal. Here at Little Moose, we think the Antelope is our favourite - what about you?
